Release by Ka’Ran was created in May of 2018 and is based in Bridgeport, CT. Always using her creativity as an escape from the stresses of life, Ka’Ran decided to find an avenue that would allow her to create something that others would find joy in as well. While brainstorming, Ka’Ran realized that certain scents brought feelings of nostalgia and joy. She knew that whatever she did had to incorporate a variety of scents. During a conversation with her sisters Angela and Sa’Ran she mentioned the idea of making her own body butter and sugar scrub. With the support of her family and friends, Ka’Ran began researching formulas and scent combinations for 5 months before making her first products as Mother’s Day Gifts for those closest to her. After posting a picture of the gifts on Facebook, she received numerous calls and messages requesting products. Ka’Ran’s goal of creating products that others would enjoy while releasing daily stress was accomplished and Release by Ka’Ran was born. Through the suggestion of a family member, Ka’Ran created a product line for men. Her beard oil, shave oil, wave pomade and beard balm can be found in several barbershops in Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania.

To date, Ka’Ran has sold hundreds of products in a few short months through the help of social media, word of mouth and vendor events. The journey is just beginning for Ka’Ran!
